It is with great pleasure that I present the International Consensus on Osteotomy - a course discussing and demonstrating improvements in surgical techniques for knee osteotomy related to the numerous technological innovations that have arisen in this field.
Indeed, osteotomy is a procedure that, if performed correctly with a precise indication and with proper preoperative planning, can give impressive long-term results and avoid arthrosis of the knee for many years.
Technological innovation has recently made it possible to make this procedure much simpler and faster, avoiding the dangerous complications that have made osteotomy a difficult and little-loved surgery for many years.
This course will allow you to familiarise with the latest technological innovations in alignment planning, patient-specific surgery and custom implants as well as the improvement in clinical results now attainable thanks to these innovations.
I look forward to meeting you and other prominent speakers from all over Europe and overseas.
See you in Bologna!
